What lessons have we learnt ? Having adequate ventilators and PPE for the future? We have domestic suppliers now,learnt how to get the R rate down,we have a very flexible NHS at no point overwhelmed, learning about the virus as other countries are

Daily charts on scientific evidence of lockdown,how do you assess the other things about lockdown like mental health to assess the benefit v damage of lockdown? Lockdown will have emotional effects on the public and economic efects,they want to relax the measures as soon as the five tests are met,very aware of effects of what they have asked the public to do

Lockdown eased,how will you convince people it is safe to be out and about? Will be eased with public heath coming first,any approach will be phased so we can monitor the effects,consulting with businesses,unions etc more testing and tracking can reassure the public
Modelling? Reality will not be the same as the model but shows the lockdown was needed,the predictions include capacity etc which was right so confident in the modelling going fowards
Contact tracing app,how many do you need to download it? As many as possible,contact tracing is really important going foward,along with testing,looking at how it has been used in other countries,one of many measures
Sharp fall in testing since target date? Weekend dip,amazing achievement in testing
Mass test sooner,could more lives be saved? Blowing smoke up hancock again,we will know when we can look back later on,mistakes will have been made
Frontline people died from lack of PPE and having to buy there own ? We are focused on getting them PPE,be able to look back later and see if mistakes were made,it has been a challenge to get PPE
What is the R value today and when did we pass the peak? Broadly the middle of april,R is around 0.7 today
When will be back to normal? Until we have a vaccine we will have some measures in place,a new normal,can't put a time in it,we are only four months into a new virus,science is moving quickly,looking at other medications that will help

Prisoners released from prison ? Wellbeing of prisoners locked up for 23hrs a day? Certain tests were applied including close to release,pregnant,around 33 have been released,always looking to support prisoners and their health,they are subject to restrictions as the rest of the public
Spike in prisoners when courts open again? Making sure there is capacity ready
Where nightingales built in error ? No ,we needed to make sure we had capacity,looking at the likes of Italy and how they were overwhelmed,we can't be certain on second wave or even more
Inquiry looking into covid on the black ethnic community ?they do seem to have higher rates of diabetes ,being looked at by public health england,can't provide names as requested,also inequality
