That’s why I’m just sticking to my own restrictions.

Whatever changes the government announce at any stage doesn’t make a difference if you just carry on acting like we all did during lockdown.

Ive also been wearing a mask in shops and on public transport since March. I didn’t give a shit what the gift said, South Korea and Taiwan swear by it, so I did too!

The vaccine is MILES off yet, so I’m not changing my ways no matter what the govt say.

Im going nowhere near anyone else. No family bubbles, no back gardens, no meeting groups of six in public, no going to the pub even if I stay 2m from
everyone.

The only thing is I’ve got balls like watermelons, got help the first girl who gets into bed with me when this is all over... I’ll explode before she unzips me!
Have a wank you sadomasochist

You can't have visitors over but you can go to the pub with your household?

Seriously what the fuck is this bollocks?

Half measures are what stop people from taking this shit seriously in the first place.

It's the only health focused lockdown they can impose without affecting the economy. It's almost the hardest to enforce and the least likely to be followed. It's a mess basically.

Can't see any other logic behind banning people meeting up in gardens but allowing pubs and that to be open
They can be open, but nobody can go there once the first "household" is in, because 2 "households" can't meet up indoors, so unless the first "household" leaves another can't go in, at least that's what the latest "clarification" seems to say.

It means you've not only had it, but had it seriously enough for your body to start creating antibodies. Or, that the test is a false positive. These antibody tests sound horrendously unreliable
We use the Abbott test and that has a specificity of 99.63% for positives, so only 37 out of 10000 would show as a false positive. If everybody produced antibodies, and there’s now known to be people who don’t, it would be a 100% accurate for negatives. It must also be said that these efficacy results are based on people who’ve had symptoms at least 2 weeks ago.

Households may go to hospitality for instance bars and pubs but new guidance will make clear that two households should not go to hospitality together.

Feels a lot like these measures are specifically designed around preventing a certain group of people celebrating a certain religious holiday tomorrow, while pretending that's not what they are doing. Can't see any other logic behind banning people meeting up in gardens but allowing pubs and that to be open
To be honest, I don’t blame them.

I’ve got a few good mates who are Muslims. Whenever I ask Shahz if he’s enjoyed Eid he always says “well, it was busy!” as he’s had to visit about eight different families. My other mate often has family from Sweden over for Eid and her Mum+Dad’s can have loads of people staying over.

Obviously the govt would be be scared to death of coming out and saying it’s about Eid, but if they think it’ll help, there’s no harm in doing this.

I’ve seen too much flaunting of distancing in the last week so it’ll do our whole region some good this!
