Keep reading about how GP surgeries (including one in Cheetham Hill yesterday) are being closed down because people with flu like symptoms are walking in, why would you do that how fucking selfish would you have to be?

One thing that the Dr Campbell videos pointed out is that for people that haven't had flu before wont know its flu and genuinely feel that something is seriously wrong and that they are dying ( his words )
 
UK news BBC doing there annual NHS hospitals not coping with NORMAL winter pressures. Talking about a guy who had a heart attack waiting hours for an ambulance as none available then 12hrs+ waiting on a trolley in hospital.

This is what will cause the problems add in even an extra 0.5% of the population with this and our hospitals will be completely overwhelmed.
If it kicks off here, we're fkd.

I'd say it's stupidity or ignorance more than selfishness. That said, there needs to be much more awareness spread about what people should do if they show symptoms. It should be plastered all over social media, with everyone receiving reminders by text.

They just need to turn people away with this thing. If I catch it, I’ll be at home locked away, wanking and posting drivel on here (not at the same time).

I've heard loads of times on the tv/news/radio last week saying people should self isolate and ring them regardless of if they are showing symptoms or not, and besides people should surely already know you dont go to the doctors/a&e with normal flu nevermind suspected covid-19? I'd just love to know what these people were thinking if they've genuinely not been paying attention or they just dont care.

It's amazing how ignorant people can be. And how many of them simply don't keep up with news. You have to engage them through the media they do actually use.
 
Been fighting off a cold thats gone on to my chest. It usually happens if I get wet. I got soaked yesterday and coughed up catarrh all night.

Can you imagine the looks I`ll get if I go out today.

What are we supposed to do if we catch it and are living with someone who is high risk?

The general public are idiots. I’ve worked in many jobs over the years where I encounter the general public every day and I’d say three-quarters of all people don’t have a fucking clue what the score is about anything. It’s astonishing how little the average person knows and how stupidly the average person thinks and how they come to ridiculous conclusions and decisions in their mind. I have no idea how many people get through each day.

It would help if the Health Minister would come out and make a statement about this. It’s a probable pandemic and while the NHS have released a text message to everyone, people still won’t understand it.
 
One of the lads in work is saying i should be sending anyone who has a bit of a cold home, even if they haven't been away or know of someone who has they may have been near someone who's been near someone who's been ............

Am i the only one who thinks this is a little extreme?

It's fucking winter for gods sake, people get colds all the time.

Don’t come into contact with them.

Stay with someone who isn’t (if they’ll have you) or get your high risk living partner to move out for a few weeks.
