Yes, the numbers are on the surface accurate.

No, they do not support the headline.

The "analysis" is a deliberate attempt to portray the virus as not harmful to the healthy. That's false, as the debunking shows.

Hence, dishonest.

Yes, the graph roubaixtuesday posted confirmed my thoughts showing effectiveness kicks in 9 days after the first dose, so think the end of January should see hospital and death figure falling. End of March should see all vulnerable with at least some immunity from their first dose.

The accuracy of the numbers was all I was discussing not getting involved in the political side there is a separate forum for that.

It's not political to point out that an analysis of deaths is done in such a way as to deliberately and dishonestly minimise the impact.

Neither is it political to post an accurate assessment of the impact and draw a contrast.

If these things are political, then everything is political, and there is no need for a separate thread.
 
Ugh Ryan Air using the vaccine to push sales of flights in their advert.

Awfully misleading given many won't receive the vaccine until back end of the year.
