Logistical issues by the sound of it. What a mess.
Edit: It’s like Hermes turning up with your parcel a week late.
That’s why the Oxford vaccine is a safer bet. Storage issues are negligible

Never said I would shut schoolsNo school absolutely would have been damaging for the mental health of our kids.
Not only has their education since September been vastly better than anything in the six months before it, they've had the chance to socialise, re-establish routines etc.
I’m not sure what they are aiming for, foolish to give targets, but we are certainly not at 1million a week yet.
My kids primary School going back in Sept was the best event to happen in the last 9 months for me. Her mental health improved 10 fold within days of being back. She got through 12 weeks with no isolation problems and has once again thrived when In the previous 6 months she was floundering.
You said that they shouldnt have opened in September.Never said I would shut schools
I think, like many other yes/no conundrum, not everything everywhere can be compared so easily.Israel's progress will make quite an interesting benchmark.

Logistics of transport, storage, vaccine centres, patients etc etc is different for each country.
I just hope it rolls out smoothly and the deaths are reduced.
I am not sure we would get more accurate information than Israel. I’m just glad to hear it’s going well for them.Yes, I don't think there will be a like-for-like comparator, but we should be learning from what countries do well and what countries do not. That's why I think it would be prudent to avoid setting ambitious but unrealistic targets and be more transparent about what we can expect to receive from manufacturers and when.

All I'm saying is that would have caused significant problems.
