They say it normally takes over a year but this has been fast tracked somehow. Whilst it’s still many months away, the relative speed of it is also a sign that it’s more serious than many think. At least to my mind it is.Not a chance.
Virologists reckon June before they have one ready to test on humans.
A trial period will be needed then if it works however long it takes to manufacture before it’s available.
You’re a cruel man, waspish.Lets just fly everyone back home to all parts of the world from China to make sure we infect the whole world :);)
Give it 2 months there be a tablet or an injection you can’t take to cure or ease it.
Sharing is caring...You’re a cruel man, waspish.
I expect so, especially if they think City might be interested in buying it.Can they be sold one?
VAR has helped get them this far and Virus Affected Regions will potentially fuck it up for them. Can we cancel the Premier league season to prevent the spread of the illness (and stop Liverpool winning the league)
At Gatwick airport currently. Seeing loads people wearing masks.
To be fair, a novel virus with a ~2-4% mortality rate, ~90% temporary incapacitation rate, a R0 of ~3 and an incubation period of ~14 days (making it almost impossible to screen for) could do enough damage to cause collapse, though perhaps not terminal.Experts say we can realistically support around 10-11 billion humans on the planet maximum, we’re almost at 8 and rising quickly. We can’t control ourselves as a species so nature will do what’s necessary for us. nature has always had a habit of thinning out the population and it won’t be long before it does it again. Science can only hold it off for so long. With a 2% mortality rate at present, I wouldn’t get too worried this is the one just yet but if this strain doesn’t end up being the one to wipe out millions, the one that does is just around the corner. And with that enjoy your weekends.

Military base so guessing they want to avoid cross contamination with civil airports and decontaminate the aircraft, but likely to be logistical reasons. There'd be a fair road transfer whichever RAF base they land at by my reckoning.Scratching my head here.
Why have the government arranged evacuation planes to land outside Oxford then bus the passengers to a quarentine base in the north west. You'd think they'd find somewhere as close as possible to the secure area to minimise any further infection if it's as virralant as being reported.
I always new a Yorkie or a Geordie would kill us all with spittle.https://uk.news.yahoo.com/coronavirus-england-test-positive-093425178.html
Yahoo reporting the 2 infections are in Newcastle.
Edit: BBC reporting the same. Were in a hotel in Yorkshire and moved to Newcastle.
Still at an exponential rate thenDeath toll up to 213 with over 9100 confirmed cases.
