25 cases in Brazil
https://www1.folha.uol.com.br/inter...brazil-confirms-25-cases-of-coronavirus.shtml
Temp In Sao Paulo(16 cases) is in the late 20s.
It will get much hotter in Iran and flu virus struggle to survive in the heat.
Hard to believe this is real but.......
Reassuring then.
The death rate in Italy is 15% not what was reported in China of 3% or whatever.
The government is moving slow, too slow, the UK has more people in a smaller area size, as soon as numbers infected doubled unless action taken swiftly why would we be on anything other than a hiding to nothing?
There is no evidence this is affected by temperature so hoping that the summer is going to kill it off is a false start.
Paul Tout But I’m not think and I don’t misrepresent what others say, unlike you.
Not winning the title due to cancellation of Prem would trump that one, rather easily I might add.Them winning the title in a empty stadium would be brilliant.
Correct I must have seen wrong data, Italy has aging population more old people will die.
I have people that work for me in China, at the start of this they warned me it a big problem, but Chinese government did not readily admit it.
Lot of crap on the internet so I would trust medical experts firstHave you not heard of books, the internet and research? Would you prefer everyone just repeat what the medical people say without understanding their words?
problem with italy is that it was spread early mostly in their hospitals, the first known case alone had spread it to dozens of doctors and hospital patients because they had no idea what it was. That's why the death toll is big.
And the average age of deaths is 81.death rate in italy is 5%.
so what you are suggesting I do, the people of the uk do and indeed the government
is not take the advice of the chief medical officer or the chief scientific officer in the uk on how to deal with the crisis.
NO . We should all be taking our advice from a financial advisor based in Dubai who posts on bluemoon.
And the average age of deaths is 81.
Which probably explains why its higher there than elsewhere.
Great to know. I wonder if there are any experts in third world irrigation issues, bridge construction in oceans / seas or coping with Ehlers Danlosmedical experts????
mate there are simply many experts on bluemoon. It’s an interchangeable skill
choose any subject you like , as complex and obscure as you like and the same people will come and give you their expert opinion.
Do you have any links for that one please? not seen any data on ages in Italy.

We obviously have a completely different perspective. In my view it is meaningless to compare the number of deaths from COVID-19 to those who would die from cancer or other causes. I can confidently predict that in 120 years all 66 million people in the UK will be dead anyway. What we are talking about with COVID-19 is additional deaths - people who were it not for this new virus would not have died.So this is apocalyptic?? A 1% death rate! Really ? I'm guessing you have been lucky enough in your life to have not had much adversity or serious illness in your family. Unfortunately I have. Unfortunately Cancer has affected my family and close friends very badly. 380,000 people will be diagnosed with Cancer this year in the UK and about 170,000 people will die and 1 in 3 of us in our life will get cancer.
I know you are really good at maths Chippy so you work out the how deadly Cancer is compared to Coronavirus.
And then come back and tell me how apocalytic a 1% or a 4% death rate is? Sure it's terrible and we should be doing all we can to avoid it. But I'm guessing that even you, one of the most pessimistic people on this thread (or a realist as you like to say) kind of thinks that in a couple of years time mankind will have developed a vaccine for this flu virus and it will fortunately be nearly eradicated. Sadly despite medical advances we are likely to be several decades away from such a result with Cancer. Perhaps you should think on that my my friend before your next apocalyptic post.
