For swine flu, they don't actually know how many people got it. The WHO at the time said 18,000 people died from it, but that only included deaths confirmed by lab testing. Subsequent studies have estimated anywhere between 150,000 and 575,000 deaths from between 700 million and 1.4 billion cases, and the WHO later admitted to an estimate 284,500 deaths. But of course most of those were in poor countries, so no-one cared and it's still portrayed as an overblown thing.I’d love to know how many people died from all of those combined. Or how many billions were spent trying to fight them.
People genuinely think that because the whole universe wasn’t completely wiped out that it’s all hype.
How do you actually get tested? My breathing gone heavy through the night and woke up with a tight chest! Can’t take any chances with my asthma. Going to try and get tested today.
And the games off.

Anyway, good luck. Hope it's just a cold or something.
Yeah right. Of course it was.

Happened to me and I've been off work the last 2 days as a precaution, full of cold. You won't get a test mate, they're only testing people who have been in direct contact with a confirmed case or travelled back from a high risk area.
You could try and blag them on 111 that you have been, but how far they look into it I don't know.

You've got to test people who are healthy because of people they might have been in contact with before they realised they had it.Might test him as he has asthma and is therefore probably higher risk than many other people.
Personally don't see much point in testing people that aren't at risk. If you are fit and healthy, there's not much danger. Probably better just getting those people to self-isolate whether they have it or not, rather than risk them infecting more people going to the GP or hospital.
Didn’t Karen say she was with you at Wembley? You should be able to get your test on that basis. My breathing gone heavy through the night and woke up with a tight chest! Can’t take any chances with my asthma. Going to try and get tested today.

But that's the reality of the situation. A supermarket worker in Vietnam just became their 35th case after two British people who had the virus visited the shop. It doesn't take much, and that's why they have teams to follow up on as many people as possible who had contact with them. There could be thousands of those though over a 2-week period. Wembley trip, pubs, restaurants, trains, work, social activities, family and friends etc. I would have thought they could just personally warn those people that they know and then of of those at risk could self isolate (or at risk ones get tested).
There are lies, damn lies and you know what. You are correct. There are things about this that simply don’t compute.
Weird thing with the stats as well. We have 383 cases, but zero serious or critical. How does that work? How do you go from jolly hockey sticks to dead, whilst bypassing serious?
All evidence so far points to 80% mild, 15% serious - needing hospital treatment, oxygen perhaps and 5% critical - intensive care. Often, as in Italy, worse stats with more serious or critical. And yet we have none? Spain has 101 critical. France 86. Even Germany has 9. But we have none? Very odd.
What is the government waiting for to put us in lock down? Surely money is not as important as people's lives

We need to know what song they used. We could have the tempo all wrong.Yeah but did they make them wash their hands?
