This is such big news we forget there are other illnesses knocking about.

We’re only just coming out of the influenza season which always kills a lot of people. Heart disease is the biggest killer of males.

I read this today; “Up to 18 March 2020, a total of five cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, MERS-CoV, (three imported and two linked cases) have been confirmed in the UK.”

MERS cases still popping up, we’ve had 5 in the UK so far this year.

I genuinely don't know what to do about work tomorrow . I am fit, in fact pretty sure I had this virus back in January before it was fashionable and we just said it's winter it's flu and cold season . I have had no guidance from my workplace about if I decide the risk is to high and don't report for work to protect me and the people I work with do I get paid ? I work to earn money to do the things I wish to do, not because I love working and I am sure the majority of the work force are the same as me ,so what do I do go earn my wage to keep the roof over my head and food for my family or stay at home and practice guitar while bunkered down in my living room ?
 
Had a nice weekend. Spent entirely at home with wife and kids.

Watched a few episodes of the Goldbergs with them, made a paella with the box of rice nobody could be arsed to strip from the shelves.

We spent today playing footie and throwing the American Football in our garden, followed by a family HIT session on my daughter's gymnastic mat.

Beautiful sunshine and speaking to my own mum on the Portal.

It is a shame plenty won't have a garden at home, it would put paid to a lot of the wanderlust going on at present?

I really fancy the Mum in The Goldbergs. Don’t know why, she’s average as owt, she just does it for me!

If only there was plenty other sensible families like you with yours,too many ignorant arses,seeing the news tonight makes me mad as fuck,the longer this ignorant dickheads ignore the warnings the longer we will have this bloody virus around.

Is it that it is people are ignorant,or just thick as fuck,it's a fine line I think.

I feel the same as but I think its been taken out of my hands with my lads gf showing signs so self isolating and his boss has told him to as well. But as she doesn't live with us , but has been here for a few nights a day or so before showing signs we not going to work. My boss has said he wont pay people self isolating so might just lie and say we have the shits !.

If that hadn't of happen I don't know if I would go to work , perhaps we could leave the work up to the ones that aren't keeping they 2 meters distance and are happy being out and about in the sun. I haven't been out all weekend to avoid it, but now do I go to work , its scary
 
The medical lady says it depends how you count the death figures,we are counting the most serious ones,i take that to mean what i have been saying about not eveybody who dies will have this as cause of death on their death certificate,that is why she doesn't want people to compare the numbers with other countries
