Yes. And this was what getting at last night about people taking the arse with joggers. That is just a dislike that reinforces people's existing prejudices. Individuals like that are not the issue. A staggeringly high section of society are just stupid as fuck and reckless gathering in groups in places they dont need to be and Im sure that if you arent involved in it you just wont appreciate the scale of it. Im a key worker and have been seeing it for 2 weeks.
Our job is classes as essential. My workmate was connecting a fibre cabinet(dslam) in the middle of town when some dickhead off his face grabbed the hammer out or his tool bag, threw it through the shop window next door, picked the hammer up gave it back and said thank you. How are you supposed to avoid twats like that. The number of people who walk past us and Spit on the floor is unbelievable and the green cabinets always stink of piss from where they are used as toilets or twats leave their half eaten kebab on them

Couldn't agree more. I was one of those having a go at joggers but if I came across as blaming them in isolation (if you will pardon the pun) then I apologise. Everyone has a responsibilty to be sensible.
As a key worker you have my heartfelt thanks. Stay safe and well.

We have had two Chinooks and a huge RAF transporter plane go overhead in the last 24 hours.

Slowly but surely the ignorant people of this country will learn that you stay indoors or you find out what the armed forces think about discipline.
Let’s hope so!

Where do you live Tolm? I keep hearing that people have seen them and I’ve seen bugger all haha

Can you be immune if you've not had it though? I'm puzzled, thought we needed a vaccine to ensure that?
Nobody has any immunity to covid as it is a new virus
Those who have had it will become immune but as of now the scientist cant say if it is short term or long term immunity
Eveyone else will have no protection until they can get vaccinated
This wil eventually just be a normal virus that people get like flu

Probably every police force nationwide would have similar, fcuking mental
That should be made to watch the film on iPlayer about the 1918 pandemic, killed 50 million and guess where the UK epicentre was? Scary to watch but compulsive viewing

Went out again this morning, 5 mile criss country run on Heaton Park golf course, only me on it and in total isolation. Was perfect, and I didn’t lose a ball for once either!! @Rammy Blue its better than the paths.

Thanks so much, mate.

When this is done, I will remember such amazing acts and put some money behind the bar for all my new friends on here. The acts of kindness shown towards me and others will not be forgotten.

*disclaimer - unless bankrupt or pubs are!!

Senior ministers will decide whether to "enhance or change" UK lockdown rules at an emergency summit next week, one of them has told Sky News.

Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said Britons had to "stick to the path that we’ve chosen" and stay at home over the Easter weekend until the review.

Those nurses working from home you mean?

Now go and sit in the corner wearing the pointy hat with a the big D on it.
And what nurse wouldn't like to be working from home? (Facetious point)

The £10k is a 40% hike in MPs' annual office costs. It's on a use it or lose it basis so has to be accounted for.

It's available now. They're not waiting weeks for it unlike UC claimants. As most of the MPs I've met are in it for good reasons (even the Tories), rather than their own interest, I'm on your side in defending their salaries (pay for MPs was a left wing idea after all) but this exchange was about a suggestion that public sector workers working at home should get a pay cut. You didn't defend them; you leapt to the defence of MPs getting more money.
