Fair enough, I’ve not actually bothered with that one at all.
As I said earlier today covid is apolitical, it's affecting governments right, left, and centre much the same (even dictatorships where you can be locked in).
Your post earlier today was spot on with what
should happen in an ideal world, and if every country had adapted that method in late winter/early spring, we might never have even needed a vaccine, and could have had a shorter lockdown then too, but there are many reasons it simply couldn't/didn't happen, mainly we have to have, and keep an economy running.
Some of us are fortunate that our jobs could move out of the office and into our homes, and still work, it's been quite a challenge doing that for me, but I've managed it, with only occasional visits into work, but my job supports our armed forces around the world, and that support is considered essential.
Unfortunately for many others this couldn't happen (including my wife), and she was first furloughed, and is now back at work, in an industry that potentially puts her at risk of catching it, they have considerable and very cumbersome PPE to mitigate the risk, but she is also considered essential.
