He has clearly chosen to present the numbers to strengthen his argument but the numbers he has used are correct and from a reputable source I do not agree with his stance but to say that is dishonest

The numbers aren't really correct to back up the argument he's making though as they only cover deaths in hospital. So he's ignoring about 35k other deaths.

Which emphasises the original point that the 2 data sets are not comparable

Of course some of those rich who escaped will probably be back virtue signalling about others not following the rules now lol

I'm not really sure what the original point was that you were trying make anyway though. Would it matter if they were using different datasets? The second analysis still debunks the point being made the Paul Embery who has selectively used incomplete data and willfully misinterpreted it to minimise the scale of the tragedy people are living through.

The point is a simple one you can't compare the 2 sets of data when cover different age ranges, 1 includes pre conditions and the other not and one is all settings and the other just hospitals that is my only point.
Some debunking of the "only old people die" bullshit.

Paul Embery has written a book on how Labour has abandoned the working class. Looks an interesting read

Probably dont fit the usual 'rulebreakers' stereotype!!!
Not at all surprised. We've been stuck in perpetual lockdown over the last nine months as a result of this. At the end of it all there'll be a report as to how and why we were all locked in our own homes and it will conclude it was the aviation/tourism industry.

My main takeaway was that Dr Pimenta shows up how disingenuous Embery is being with his statements.
At the risk of repeating myself my comment was and still is the data sets are not comparable nothing more nothing less
