Hearing that stage 4 is to be delayed until mid July (it may initially be marketed as a “two week” delay - another planned lie as it is intended to be 4) and this will be used as an excuse to delay most travel until the end of July.
It is expected therefore that there will not be much change to traffic lights in the next 8 weeks’.
This is again another change. Having told the industry they would proceed with traffic light system with “watchlists” between green and amber. The watchlists were then dropped and now the criteria for green amber red dropped entirely.

Out of interest why u buzzing pal. Not having a go.

Cyprus is fully opening up no requirements to get into the country and they should be going to green in 2 weeks time so won't be an isolation period upon return .

These restrictions are farcical. Most of Europe are now a lower infection level and will let you in with no tests . Yet when u return to here with a higher infection rate you have to isolate and take tests madness. Makes zero sense

Because I couldn't arsed letting TUI keep my money for another year again, rather have it back and decide what to do myself.

Filled in the online refund form for a cancelled easyJet flight from Dalaman to the UK, in July. Received a response yesterday saying my request has been rejected as I've already boarded the flight !
They're not able to receive emails as their postbox is full. I wonder why?

Similar here. I think we're going to open up for tourism from 21st or 24th but only to other EU nations or the very few countries on our green list (very few of those). Even then, they will need to be vaccinated and/or have tests I think.

Low I'd say.

Got 2 reviews to get back onto green before then.....highly highly unlikely it goes green again on the next review towards the end of this month so realistically it has 1 review chance around mid July.

Even if cases begin to fall again in July, the Gov are being very cautious for the green list.
If Malta can't get green status despite having a good vaccine rate and only 5 cases per 100k, then it gives little hope for other nations.

Portugal likely amber at best now for the peak season.

trying their best to get us to holiday over here but they can get fucked, i'm not gonna be ripped off with the stupid prices being asked plus the cost of food and drink, then on top of that you could get pissed on for the duration of your holiday. last ime we went on holiday over here was to carbis bay cornwall, the drive down was a nightmare and it pissed down every day apart from the last day plus charging silly money for a pint, never again!
