What you don't say or don't realise or possibly don't know is that there are deaths in hospital where the death is due to covid but the sufferer has so obviously got Covid that they don't bother with a test. These deaths are also not counted as no Covid test was carried out in the previous 28 days. So stop grasping at thin arguments.

Whatever they were being treated for. This situation normally results from individuals who have serous health problems and Covid is just the last thing that they cannot cope with. Perhaps one of the health professionals on BM could give you a more specific answer.

That’s the great thing about such high efficacy. We don’t need 80% of people to have the vaccine.

I did promise myself, after the first page or so, that I wouldn’t read this thread and it would be full of anti-vax YouTube loons and there have been a few along with a few thoughtful posters that make cogent arguments as to why they’re reticent.

I think most arguments have been made so I’ll unwatch and bow out for as long as my curiosity allows.

That’s still less than 5000 out of 55,000.

It’s obviously important for families to get closure on how their loved one actually died but it’s certainly not a figure that means we don’t need a vaccine.

What I read into that report is that they are NOW reporting deaths due to Covid differently, but when daily Covid deaths are announced, any death certificate with Covid on is included in the daily figures

Im glad you’re not a Covid denier but why wouldn’t you take one?

I don’t trust the government figures as being that accurate but we can be certain several dozen thousand people have died from this virus and it’s no joke.

Life will resume to normality once enough of the population are vaccinated and we’ve beat the thing, that means despite already having Covid this year and that I’m not vulnerable, if offered I’ll 100% get one, as it means I’m less likely to kill someone else and we can put this God awful year behind us.

Im surprised at people not wanting it, I really am.
