No because I had Covid in early November and therefore have immunity for at least 12 months. Will probably have it next Autumn by which time we should know more about possible side effects
Hope you're correct but my mate had all the symptoms at the start of March after a trip to Milan. He had it again in September (Confirmed with a test this time though)

Always makes me laugh when some people get all worried about an approve medicine, yet are very happy to take drugs from some dodgy dealer at the weekend. (that has probably been up some couriers arse for days, and has been cut with chemicals that could do serious harm)

"The UK has become the first western country to license a vaccine against Covid, opening the way for mass immunisation with the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to begin next week for those most at risk"......this worries me more as Boris Nuts Nuts and his merry men have been fucking last with everything else to do with COVID!

Interim Chief Medical Officer Dr Gregor Smith is asked how the vaccine will be distributed fairly across the whole of Scotland, particularly rural Scotland and the south of Scotland.

Dr Smith says as soon as the first supplies are received received, they will be able to begin deploying it right across the country.

The government has invested in the infrastructure necessary and trained teams in preparation, he says.

It doesn’t matter if you’re in a rural area or an urban area, says Dr Smith. The hospital sites across every area have been supplied with the ultra-low temperature storage facilities required to store the vaccine.

Barring any last-minute logistical hitches, he expects the vaccine to be deployed across Scotland at the same time.

Therefore you will be relieved to here that Boris nor his clan have had anything to do with the development, production, testing, or authorisation of this vaccine or infact any other that is in the pipeline. Were that not the case and Boris was indeed responsible for any of these things I would not touch it with a shitty stick. As it happens I would go and have it right now.

Exactly the same, was ill for a few weeks after the League Cup final (fever, cough, felt like I'd been hit by a train, didn't go to bed for 5 nights, no appetite) but had what was possibly whooping cough. Got in in late September, confirmed antibodies from a test on the 9th October. Hopefully the antibodies last at least a few months.

Does anyone know if you are supposed to have the vaccine if you have antibodies?

Yes I believe so, my mum had it a few weeks ago (83) and is still told to have to vaccine.

They wont know whether you have had it or not in most cases as there will be ten if not 100s of thousands of people being vaccinated having had it and having no idea they have. They wont be testing you for antibodies or anything prior to you being jabbed.

Developed by German Scientists of Turkish decent in Germany backed - mostly - by Americans - so far removed from out government that is efficacy and safety are assured.

The bit that should worry is is the distribution - that is down to them to organise - as was the runaway success that is Track and Trace
