COVID Watch

The latest news begs the question; were we ordered to resume training as the PL cannot afford any further cancelations ? The other question is, did we agree for the same reasons ?
It is clear the bug is still in the training complex despite the deep clean so we should not be training or playing matches until ALL staff and players can do so safely. This virus kills people, is football more important ? is the money so vital that we will risk lives ?

The premier league is not concerned if a team trains or not.

At this stage you have to question how for we let it go before we have a break. We have nearly a full team out now. Am sure the media will spin it to be our own fault though. If united end up with cases after tonight they'll be calling for then to sue us.

How did the womens team get the virus ? they are trying to say it is from the trip to Dubai. No other premier league team has had so many positive results over such a wide range of ages and players, Junior players that would have little contact with first teamers, womens team that train in different areas. Something is wrong and it isnt just Kyle Walker not having a sex party.
I've seen as much as you that the 4 women went to Dubai (presumably just the 4 of them?), unless you've got evidence to the contrary I can't see why you'd doubt it.

The kids, mens 1st team & the womens teams all have separate bubbles at the CFA do they not? That should limit cross contamination massively (sorry @Ric ;) ).

Perhaps the thing 'wrong' is that there's a global pandemic with a new much more transmissible version doing the rounds that is frankly beginning to give me the shits in terms of what the rest of this year at least will look like.

The worse thing is we havent got a grip on who is positive or not due to whatever delay... at the same time we have 3/4/5 games in a 2 week period and players and staff are travelling together..

Carson is now positive and was in Sundays squad so surely this is not the end of it among our players and staff. We need a break.

i had to look up James Trafford, never heard of him, turns out i grew up in a village (different generation!) in the middle of nowhere in West Cumbria about 2 miles from his family. Strange.
He was on the bench v Sheffield Utd I think it was.
