I just presumed her self testing kits would be more accurate than that then
I actually used one on xmas day when i came home from work
I'd been getting headaches for a few days while at work,probably the mask we have to wear
i was negative anyway.

Out of interested what does she do so as to get the tests not heard of anyone getting those tests through work in the front like public sector good if they Are tho

coach drivers ? to read media you'd think its like sunday league home n away using own cars and getting changed in them,

Also they will be much more vulnerable than the players and other sport related staff due age health and less privilege

My sons gf is at MRl usually in the theatre and she has to do tests twice a week but she said its a trial. A bit stupid when they had mass testing for anyone in Liverpool although most of the clever arses couldn't be bothered going.

My wifes at Tameside,been transferred to ITU CCU since March,she's BAME too so more vulnerable
yet she has not had symptoms,tested negative for anti bodies back in June.

Good to hear you were ok and sensible to test yourself. You need to be pretty brutal with the swabbing ie make yourself gag and make your eyes water. Self testers tend not to do this as it’s uncomfortable which probably accounts for the inaccuracies in the test.
The idea with self testing kits are to use them regularly every 3-4 day’s which will increase the pick up rate.
It’s much better than nothing.....

the test kits my mrs has,you have to prod both nostrils for at least 15 seconds ?
it tickles and is difficult to do
i was surprised she let me use one of her 25 tests to be honest

I’m in a similar situation....dodging bullets daily.
At least PPE supplies are good this time round.
Football really doesn’t matter anymore.
I just hope they suspend the league soon.

I think my son is at more risk than his gf as he works at a Tesco in Chorlton and they have loads of customers who don't wear masks and take no notice of distancing and Tesco do nowt about it. He got tonsillitis early on and they kept him in overnight which was a bit of a worry.

My feelings too
City is the biggest part of my life
but it means fk all compared to my wife and son
I'm here at home now drinking myself to oblivion on my last day off
back in tomorrow for 6 days except sunday where i have an holiday for City,(will probably be off )
stress and worry hit new heights this year hasn't it

The biggest fuck up in all of this is the premier league, FA cup, league cup and champions league all running full schedules in a shortened season knowing the pressure everyone was under and outbreaks likely to happen. It’s absolutely disgusting and reflects terribly on how they use and abuse players and staff. All of these competitions could have been truncated to one degree or other but all these governing bodies are greedy twats.

Most of us think exactly the same as you, but at the end of the day all these parasites are interested in is the filthy lucre.

We have jesus and walker but pure speculation on the others.
