COVID Watch

Are we, as a club, going to take a chance on him being able to contribute this season? I don't think we can. We need to get a striker in on a short-term basis.
This latest setback sums up a crap season for Sergio. The club should go out and loan a forward for the remainder of the season.

Anyone decent available?

Anyway, It does not really matter in the grand scheme. All the best on your recovery Sergio.

So how long now will he be out - do they just keep testing until he’s negative or is it a set amount of time? I’m well confused with the rules/protocols. Really hope he’s available for the Sheffield game as we will need him at full tilt in Feb and March

He’s going to be a bit of a fat bastard when he eventually does play again.
He's clearly been hitting the gym during his layoff. He'll come back looking like Fernando Torres.

We have coped without him for ages and I gave up hope of him being match fit for the rest of the season. Hopefully he won’t be out for long and if he has got it probably the best time considering the next three games. Get well Sergio!

looking like the Dippers game will come too soon for Sergio , another few days isolating and then match fitness will mean the false nine tactic could be here for the duration , which is a shame a fully fit and firing Sergio would tear Henderson a new arse hole.

Well Delap should be getting a chance now.
Getting sent off the other night won't have helped his case. He's nowhere near ready for a game like Liverpool. Weekend would be perfect if he hasn't pissed pep off with his hotheadidness/petulance. He has to show he can be trusted. I'm sure that will come as he matures. He's still lust a kid.

They say a high-protein diet is good for post-Covid recovery, so he he'll be back on Argentinian steaks, which will just aggravate his injuries.
