I can see MCFC and Bellers mutually agreeing to call it a day without the contract being paid up - unless Bellers adopts the 'mercenary' approach and wants to screw us one last time. I suspect that if the chance of moving straight into management was on offer he would jump at it. There's many an out of work manager would bite off their own arm to get the Cardiff job.

When did he screw us over the first time? We forced him out and Mancini personally packed his bags for him, before sending him on his way.

he's worth 7/8 mil, sell him for 4 and we'll recoup his wages we paid last season.

Not on last season performance he didnt look out of place in the 2nd div for me. He worth 1m at best and wont move due to the high wages. I bet we would love to give him away as it would save £7 million in wages

Have you been watching the same player???? 1 million??

As proven last season with Cardiff, he is shite, past it and unbelievably overrated - when he is fit enough to play, anyway. Give them the highlight reel from MoTD a couple of seasons ago, and might stretch to 2 million. That highlight reel is about all that anyone here remembers.

He could retire we would retain his playing registration until his contract is up.

How long does he have on his contract 1 year ?

He will want to stay on loan until his contract is up with us paying his wages. Shame he couldnt have a good laugh with Harry this season isnt it ?

Personally I hope Hughes goes to Villa and signs all the shit old injury prone attitude players he signed whilst at city.

I think he signed a 4 1/2 year deal when he joined that would mean 2 years left.......As for value how much he is worth if Steve Morrison(at 28 in Aug)is worth 3m having only ever played a single season in the 2nd tier, surely Bellemy is worth at least that.....

Without a doubt he will be at Aston Villa next season with Mark Hughes and good riddance! A complete and total pain in the arse. I only hope Hughes takes all of the other dead wood he accumulated at great cost with him such as:
Adebayor, Santa Cruz (Oh Jesus!), Wayne Bridge, Shay Given (serial moaner who's on £90K a week!!) and the rest of the dross he signed.
Bellamy will never a City shirt again and nor should he.

Requesting money for one of our contracted players - The cheek of our club........!!

Craig Bellamy stunned after Manchester City demand £4m for striker
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Manchester City have placed a £4million price-tag on Craig Bellamy and put him on a collision course with boss Roberto Mancini.
Bellamy was stunned that they are demanding any fee for him.

City's tough stance has scared off Everton and Bolton but, having paid the bulk of Bellamy's wages during his loan to Cardiff, they do not see why they should let a player who cost them £15m and has two years left on his contract go for nothing
