Crazes when you were at school

'Tangoing' people too, that was another that got banned. Creeping up behind someone and slapping them on the ears as hard as you could, more often than not resulting in being left near-deaf, or at best feeling like your ears have just popped after the worst descent of a flight ever.

there were tons throughout the years.

When I was young, sort of junior school age, the bigger kids passed the doc martin's craze down to us. The more lace holes your shoes had, the better. They also used go give us second hand leather jackets, so we could be in a "gang".

We also had pogs at junior school, push pops an all, tamagotchi (I used to beg my mum to look after it while I was at school, bless her she tried), Yo Yo's made a brief come back.

In secondary school it was a bit less craze oriented really, and I don't think my school really followed local trends.

We had a craze for "millions" from the local shop, and then warm bread from the local bakers, then roller blades; but that was all I can relly remember.

Was born in '85 aswell.
Pogs became massive in our playground.

Not having the money to buy this crap, we stole a full box of them from Woolworths and a Newsagent.

Sold the rare ones to the spoilt/rich kids :D

Someone mentioned, click clacks, they were clackers to us, on string to, not the pansy type fixed plastic ones of the 80's.
