Phil Malone, a City Lad from Rochdale, whom some of you know.
(I know Ric does) is off on his bycycle adventures again. This time from Argentina to North America, maybe even to Alaska if he can get a snow bike.
He posts a daily blog with some of the best pictures I have ever seen.

at the moment he is in North Western Argentina near the Chile border and
in a one horse shanty town came across a lad in a City shirt (page 81)
This guy clycled from Rochdale to Munich to Villareal and then onto Naples.
How many Rags have done anything like that.

There's a survey currently being carried out that will reveal 650 million recently clambered about their bikes and scuttled off round the world!
 
This guy is fantastic, his blog is a must read, his pictures are brilliant.
I met him at a euro game, think it was bayern , he asked if I was de Niro and when I confirmed it he told me I was a dick. Head screwed on that lad.
 
Thanks for posting the link, really enjoyed the blog and the great pics. Is he planning to cycle through the Darien Gap in Central America, that's supposed to be real "bandit country"?

De Niro, let it go!!!! I do believe you returned the honours in Valencia!!!
Darien Gap doesnt look promising. More likely catch a yacht from Colombia to Panama via the San Blas Islands!

Absolutely superb bloke. Had a very memorable evening in Naples for the Napoli game with Phil! Fantastic adventure that he's been on
