Creative midfield players!

United have Nani, Young, Valencia, Kagawa,Januzaj & Zaha. 6

Chelsea have Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Schurle. 5

I think we should count Milner as a utility player not as an attacking midfielder, he is the best cover for RB, CM and AM positions.
Chelsea also have de Brunye, Van Ginkel and Kakuta

Le Arse have Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, Rosicky, Ox-Chamberlain, Gnabry and Miyaichi.

So, compared to our rivals we are a little light in this position, particularly with Nasri out, but we have Silva, Navas, Milner, Lopes and Jovetic as cover so we should be ok until he's back.
This would not be my priority in this window, as we are in desperate need of a central/defensive midfielder.

Why are united in that list, they don't have a fuckin midfield !

Apparently, Navas has created more goals and scored more than Nasri, as has Silva, so no need to worry!
Also Aguero is back for our next Prem game, he's no slouch in the creative stakes either, plus we often have difficulty trying to accommodate Nasri and Aguero in the same line up.

You are right.

Aguero brings out the best in Dave Copperfield Silva...... I expect to see our Magician back to his mesmeric best on Saturday

You can typically tell when we're really trying to sign someone. Don't get that feeling this January...

We need one desperately.

Marcos Lopes is possibly as good as Januzaj if not better and even Cristiano Ronaldo at that age; difference is opportunity, and by your methodology that would never come. James Milner has made a good impact in the limited time he's had on the field this season, and should be granted a sustained run on the left, he's more compatible with Silva than Nasri anyway.

It'd be embarrassing if we just go and panic buy someone like Isco, who rejected us only to be sidelined at Madrid. There comes a point where the club has to be resourceful; Pellegrini already had a disproportionate number of options available to him to begin with.

Milner and even Kolarov are more creative than Nasri anyway; more direct, efficient and as a result creative. Nasri taking an excessive number of touches on the ball is not creative, it's, as Gianni Agnelli once described Zidane 'more entertaining than useful'

I'm quietly confident that Nasri will be back within the predicted time, and I think we have sufficient options to cover his absence now. Lopes can be on the bench, for now, but we should already be looking for a player, ages 22-24, who can come in the early summer and be the understudy for Nasri and Silva.

Nasri creates the 3rd most shots per game in the country:

Milner more creative than Nasri? Also, Isco has definitely not been sidelined at Madrid, he's been a regular for them ever since joining and as for comparing Nasri to Zidane as well as agreeing with an opinion that Zidane wasn't that good...
