Can’t we just give Australia a bit of credit for bowling so well yesterday and this morning, meaning we’ve found it so difficult to score? Stokes is a naturally attacking player yet he’s taken over 80 balls to get into double figures. In this situation it absolutely has to be safety first but punish the bad ball.

Well, that isn't true.

Denly doesn't; Root doesn't; Stokes doesn't; Bairstow doesn't etc

They only two you could argue that are in anyway want to be like KP are Roy and Buttler.

2 out of 10 (assuming you mean Burns wants to be Cook) doesn't suggest the team is full of wannabe KPs.

Stokes does, Bairstow does, Denly is just county cowpat. Root with his silly saunters down and chasing every slightly wide one like it needs to be 4 is going that way.
