A fair few are nowhere near good enough for this level.

New captain required to take the pressure off Root, trouble is nobody in this side looks like they can do the job.

I am glad I don’t have to pick a squad to take us forward, there isn’t much of a pool out there to pick from.

Not sure it's about heart, more about poor technique, as well as bloody mindedness. It's as if they believe the hype in the papers when the going is good, but are unable to just stick around. Almost as if the players accept the worst, as if only...

Root is a poor captain, and is becoming an average player. But who do we turn to? The ECB is a money making machine and have the players, by and large, working 12 months of the year. About time ECB looked at quality not quantity.

The English cricket team have moments of success but other teams have periods of success (often years) that we seem unable to do.
