We need to slow the game down, take our time between balls and put the pressure on NZ. Take the pace off - the pitch is two-paced, it's not easy. 179 was a good score and I think it's enough. Bring on Sri Lanka! We'll know what we need to net run rate there. Hopefully Afghanistan bowl well and manage to bat a bit better than usual.

Would've been an easier win without the dropped catch, obviously. Still, a win is a win.

Great win that and a big one too - 20 runs shows how well we batted and the bowlers were fantastic. One dropped catch but NZ dropped Jos let's not forget! Sit back and cheer for an Afghanistan win on Friday or failing that a close game where the Aussies don't get much on their NRR. Then go and give Sri Lanka a spanking on the Saturday. Used to seeing England chase, but wonder if we're better setting a target on these pitches so we can work it out a bit more. Sensible batting today, not going too hard too soon.

A good win against one of the form teams. If I was being picky, we should have scored another 10-20 runs and maybe if we had taken that dolly of a catch restricted them to under 150. That would have really shook the group up and made our last game almost irrelevant of worrying about run rate.
