Looks like India wanted a wicket that if they lose the toss they still in the game! 300 on that pitch with India having 3 spinners will be a tough score to get unless we get lucky and someone gets a big score.

You’re right about the pitch. That one that bowled Kohli shouldn’t be doing that on the first morning of a 5 day test
