I thought yesterday that as soon as Rohit Sharma played that innings that it was game over. The pitch is a disgrace for test cricket it's a 5th days pitch on day 2!

India knew this wicket was going to be a bed of vipers. Rohit went for it from the start and took the game away from us. We’ve been too circumspect in our reply.

Playing at 2Rpo is horrendous, as i said before they should have treated it like a one day game to have any chance

I'm implying they wouldn't need a 4th innings at this rate, and if they did do, not to need very many

Yeh, undoubtedly they could enforce it and wrap it up quickly. Just saying that they won't. It'd be nice for these 2 to add enough to take us past the point where its a consideration anyway.

If it’s a day 5 pitch on day 2, it was a day 4 pitch on day 1, and England allowed India to amass too many runs. Should England have played another spinner when they saw the pitch?

Yep we could of attacked a bit more but would of been tougher against this Indian bowlers.

It’s also down to sport science relating to bowler fatigue. This is a back to back test, so some will be feeling it.

Getting 300 ahead would be impossible to chase and had the bowlers’ feet up for a day or so. They’d still have 2 whole days to bowl us out.

That greyhound track they’re playing on isn’t fit to host test cricket. 12 wickets today for not a lot of runs.
