Crawley gone to an awful shot, 2 runs in each innings - get shut.
Reminds me of James Vince. Looks good, but has lapses in concentration.Crawley gone to an awful shot, 2 runs in each innings - get shut.
This is a pretty shameful effort….
came into the innings with a massive opportunity to win but have basically pissed it away by not taking the initiative in the early part of the innings
could have tried to get the scoreboard moving with half decent running and they’ve basically fallen asleep
The kiwis are in charge now and look like they will win from here
We’re too negative, been going backwards in test cricket at some rate in recent years
Run rates are generally much lower on the last day of test matches. Uneven bounce etc. This is a pretty shameful effort….

You really thought we were going to try and chase 273 in the afternoon on the 5th day ?No ambition from us... pretty poor in my opinion
It was only a RR of 3.64. Unless some quick wickets fell within the first 30 overs, I expected at least some intent from England. You really thought we were going to try and chase 273 in the afternoon on the 5th day ?
The only talk would have been about securing the draw, it’s not been a free scoring pitch all test.It was only a RR of 3.64. Unless some quick wickets fell within the first 30 overs, I expected at least some intent from England.
Sibley is one of the most negative players I have seen represent England in recent times.
