100% agree.

Let's hope the umpire enjoys his winnings ;)

I'm only joking of course, but you can see how the result could be manipulated. Even though it looks like a thrashing, and there's no reason to believe someone else wouldn't come out and smash it around, it really was at a pivotal point in the game.

Anyway let's hope the Bears smash Kent tomorrow to shut that boring Rob Key up. He bugs me something rotten.

Didn't do ourselves any favours with our fielding tbf but it still annoys me.

Key definitely had a bet on

The young players will (or should) be better for that experience.

We just lacked composure and game management in the last 5-6 overs.

England a bit disappointing in the end. The lower middle order did not perform. Even so we are well in the driving seat and, barring weather problems, should wrap this up by sat tea. Must stay sharp in the field.

right then, Day 3 plans?

bat on (for as long as the last 2 wickets allow) and put some more tiredness into the bowlers, and wear down some time until the new ball (later this morning?).

i fear the pitch might be flattening out, India do have a chance to bat for a long while, but Anderson/Robinson spells either side of lunch could work magic. I would declare at midday to 12:15, should we still be batting.

furthermore, weather could be on England's side for bowling today, looks overcast
