Sorry to be that guy but it's already looking very ominous. Are we expected to see some movement when the sun goes down?
 
We bowled ok but think the Aussies would bowled better and we would of give away a few wickets with poor batting and less patience.
 
Australia have dug in well. For England to end that session with only 1 wicket all day feels a little harsh, they beat the bat quite a few times, dropped catch and one very close to playing on. But the bowling all felt a bit samey for a long stretch, the ball appears to be doing very little. The score has been managed reasonably which is a positive but overall they need wickets in this next session.
 
Our bowling attack looks very samey without Wood in the team.

Woakes is a fine cricketer but I hope England aren’t selecting him purely because he’s a decent bat.
 
oh dear, not much has changed at all since tea. Wicket becoming desperate now, which plays into Australia's hands.
