Came home after a lovely walk in the hills, got a cuppa ready to chill out and watch some cricket while the missus does whatever women seem to find entertaining on their phones for so long, only to find we’ve capitulated again. What a useless shower the batsmen are. You could pick any random county players and they’d probably do no worse.

Apart from Root, why don’t we have a Pietersen, Strauss, Cook level batter anymore? It’s got to be down to too much limited overs cricket.
