There aren’t that many that will be.

Anderson is more of a token Lanky these days. Mahmood and maybe Parkinson too, although Parkinson hasn’t made the Lancs team for the current 4 day game.

Think Josh Bohannon should be in with a shout for the test team. I really rate him. Other than him, Parky and Mahmood

I’d have Mahmood below Broad, Anderson, Stone, Archer, Wood, Robinson and Woakes (in England) in the pecking order. But three of those tend to be injured all the time.

He has 4 was was in 2019, none in 2020, two in 2021 and one last week.

I know Ben Compton is also new on the scene and old to be breaking through, but I reckon he will get a look in, in great form plus his family name will open doors.

We need to nurture our young batters, but we need them to sink or swim sooner rather than later given the state of our test match scores of late.
