They don’t need to “go for it “ yet though. Even a modest 3-4 runs an over for the next 20 would land us circa 200.
18 overs to get a hundred ?
To do that - Wickets in hand is key here unless the cricket pair do something remarkable post tea.

38 overs, England should be strong favourites here - 4 an over on a flat pitch which hasn't really done anything. Play sensibly for an hour and if they're still only 4 down, one of them can let fly.

If these 2 can stay in for another 25 runs and get the deficit into double figures it'll be a massive psychological boost - and NZ may change tactics to contain them.

YJB could really do with a century, and England only need 3 an over. They're going to cruise to victory unless they get too smash happy and Bairstow holes out on 85 and Foakes has to come in and spend 30 minutes getting in.

That’s the concern not if,more like when he holes out,but this NZ bowling is leaving a lot to be desired,good for us mind.
