And his conversion rate is relatively poor in comparison to the others.Root has now scored 12 test centuries since Kohli got one and he leads the "big 4" (Root 28, Smith 27, Kohli 27, Williamson 24)

What's this partnership's scoring rate? They came together at 109, so that may have been around over 20-25, at a guess? They've scored over 220 in around 35 overs. That's around 6 rpo, if my dodgy maths is okay. Ludicrous stuff in a test match.
