Bit early to start writing them off!
It was mostly a joke.

Mostly!

Lords is a funny place where the pitch can go from difficult to simple very quickly. I thought that the England bowlers are all medium-fast rather than fast, and that may make a difference. If Broad remembers to bowl a proper length and that he's not an enforcer, it might be a very interesting and low scoring match.

It's very dark and very wet in East London, so they'll be off until at least 4.

What’s the weather for the rest of the test match?

possible showers, but difficult to say, I think. Mostly cloudy, sunny on Friday afternoon.

There's been a thunderstorm going for the last hour, and if it's raining as hard at Lords (about 7 miles) they won't be back much before 5, I 'd think. I know outfields dry quickly nowadays, but anything less than an hour is unlikely.

Think be lucky to get anymore play today!

Good weather Friday Saturday and Sunday so we need at least 180 for us to bowl at but seems South Africa going to have the best days for batting..
