Tough one if you win the toss do you bat or bowl first? If you bowl first you have to rely on no rain because that’s what did us last game so win the toss and bat..

New inspection 10.50....apparently the latest they can start is 11.50 with a 5 over match.

Afghanistan the biggest losers today, a second NR v Ireland and look out.

NZ and Ceylon the winners., who play tomorrow with NZ favourite and also Eire left for them 7 points
Aus beat Eire on Monday and Afghan 7 points
England beat SL int the last game 5 points

Key game England v NZ Tues - either 7 points for Eng and likely to go through on NRR or 9 points NZ top Aus 2nd.

In other news, this morning I've bagged a couple of tickets for day 3 of the Ashes test at Headingley on July 8th in the second ballot. Only £45 each but supposedly a very restricted view (very little else available), although the "view from your seat" thing doesn't look too bad and it seems just part of the boundary on one side of the ground isn't visible. This is in addition to the 2 tickets I got the other week for day 3 of the Old Trafford test.
