I just find it hard to believe that we've had all of these players over the years yet suddenly slumped to this? surely coaches haven't changed or opportunities etc. maybe time for a change of coach, fair play he's turned the one day stuff on it's head but the longer format has gone so far backwards it's worse than when he took overIt's not that hard, really. We've fallen off a cliff talent wise. It's not easy to be a top class international batsman and we have under appreciated really good players this past decade. Apart from a nice purple patch, Ian Bell spent his entire career fighting off the critics, but what would to have him in there now? KP the same. Flintoff the same. Strauss, Treschotic, Vaughan, Troutt etc. Some of the best this country has ever had all retired in a few years.
