With the exceptions of Marsh, Finch and Agar, Australia are as bad as I can remember in the limited over formats.

They are going to seriously struggle without Smith and Warner.

A lot of upset cricketers around Manchester this weekend. GMCL have refused to allow the games to be moved which means the games will be played at the same time as England are playing. Some not happy players around.

I've heard whispers that there will be a few teams 'mixing' it up! I expect some strange results, low scores and some very long tea breaks where there aren't panel umpires!!!

North staffs and south Cheshire league have come up trumps. My game starts two hours early and finishes an hour late so we can fit the game in. It’s quite easy to do when the weathers like this. Knypersly are starting at 8am instead of 12 which means they’re meeting at 6.30am for the warm up!!! Bit much? It’s only a quarter final after all

When Dhoni came in he assessed the pitch and new with his years of experience they had zilch of a chance of winning this game so he just wanted a net.

Which I feel is pathetic ....doesn’t matter u loose by 180 runs or 80...this was not World Cup where run rate mattered...he should have tried counter attack...he’s is no number 10

Agree but he had time at the crease and when he did go for it he got out straight away that pitch was hard to go after the bowlers

Who would everyone pick for the upcoming first test then?

I would like to see Vince back in the team but not at number three on this occasion.

I think I’d go for something like this:

1.Cook
2.Jennings
3.Root
4.Vince
5.Bairstow
6.Stokes
7.Buttler
8.Woakes
9.Broad
10.Leach
11.Anderson

May be cricket World Cup is coming home ..they are best odi side in the world atm

when the world cup starts next year england will be a flop and bottle it when the pressure hits home of being called the bets ODI team in the world ?? you still need to go out and win it nobody will just hand it to you, also the ECB will pick the wrong team again like picking root ?? and somebody will have to take the blame they say never show your hand to early and england have just done that with india, they are (india) very good at looking shit when its meaningless ODI series that are for TV with nothing really on them but come the world cup you bet your life they are ready and hard to beat
