Ah England gone backward regarding batting it’s about staying in no matter what which is great if like burns first test go on and get a 100. Thing is though unless the middle order puts spurt on you ain’t winning a lot of tests..

Both made it through to lunch, that hasn’t happened for a while and we should get 5 full days in so not that concerned about run rate yet.

I can cope with that in the first session or two of a test match if it preserves wickets and gives us a platform to ramp up the run rate later.

you aren't losing a lot either. It usually takes Sibley all day to get 31. I'm looking forward to the edgbaston crowd getting Pissed this afternoon.

yeah get that but the run rate need to increase because bat for two full days at this rate won’t be enough to get a team out twice..
