Hmm 172. I would say normally that isn't enough but bearing in mind you've got the pressure of a final plus NZs tight bowling then it's harder to judge.

There's some real holes in the Aussie batting as well. I don't think I've ever seen Smith play a convincing T20 innings and Maxwell only seems to turn up when he's playing the likes of the 'Pune Warriors'. When the pressure is on he normally doesn't turn up. I don't really rate Finch that much these days either...

So it's down to the little bulldog Mr Warner I think if Australia are to chase this down. If he goes for less than 20 I'd be surprised to see Australia chasing this.
 
Don't think NZ have quite enough and it grates that the two best teams were knocked out in the semis by way of a coin toss.

Hope I'm wrong though and the Kiwis do the business.
 
Thing with batting second is you need 30 of 12 balls it’s still gettable if you have a man at the crease who is in and 4/5 in the hut.

Win the toss win the 20/20 World Cup.
 
All these crowd shots. Cricket clearly isn't the sport to bunk a day off work for.

Not that I would ever condone such behaviour.
 
Seems like the F1 will be safe to watch. Australia should do this easily now.

Finch going early was a blessing. Marsh has played a blinder and Warner has been predictably reliable as well.

Yeah, the thing is I’m not sure Australia are even the fourth best team in the competition, not sure what the answer is though.

Don’t you think t20 has attracted new set of fans knowing that it gets over in 3 hours

The wickets aren't giving the bowlers enough, hence why there's no pressure on the batters chasing. 24 wickets only over nearly 6 innings in the knockout rounds, just 2 lbws.

The knockouts have been really predictable and it looks like the Aussies will be ICC T20 Toss Winning champions. It's a huge flaw in the format. They really need to be looking at the best of two games for these knockouts using nett RR to decide when 1-1.

I love my cricket but didn't bother watching today after the two semis because it was obvious what was going to happen. The European Cricket League T10s from Cyprus on FreeSports is more entertaining.
