They have neither the talent nor the application for this. Utter shit standard from the lot of them.

West Indies in March (3 Tests), New Zealand in June (3 Tests), and South Africa (3 Tests) in August/September. They then tour Pakistan again for three Tests in December 2022 before touring South Africa, New Zealand, and Bangladesh in early 2023.They won’t change nowt Root be still captain Silverwood be still there! We go to West Indies and win there it be all forgotten as usually to we play the Aussies again.
That is looking like a hectic Test schedule, and with so much T20 and ODI as well, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Root is retained his position. There has to be a designated Test captain.

Cummins bowls predominantly in the 135-140kph range. As do Hazelwood, Green and Richardson. Boland and Neser are slightly slower.
This is going off the BT coverage, where Wood is by far the quickest bowler on display.

You won’t find me arguing against that! But in fairness, some of these tours are reciprocity. The West Indies toured at the height of the first wave and Pakistan also came last summer, sacrifices that should not go unrewarded. England also balked at touring Pakistan and withdrew from South Africa last winter, so in some respects these tours are catching up what was lost.The ecb are greedy fuckers us and India play to many test matches it’s easier for the likes of Australia New Zealand and other test match teams to plan for test match players.
The ECB either coughs up and pays for an exclusive Test team (where ODI/T20,IPL involvement is minimised), or it treats Test cricket as a biannual Ashes series.
