Was thinking that myself.I question that statistic. Only Starc and Wood consistently bowl over 140kph from either side.

The run was down to Crawley ?Wtf is the matter with these damn batsmen? How can a Test match opener get himself run out!? Fucking hell it’s a five day game, why is Burns desperately trying to take one risky single?
They have neither the talent nor the application for this. Utter shit standard from the lot of them.

Counter point, they are both fucking useless and know they can't last long so should try and get every run possible before inevitably getting outNeither of them should have been attempting it though, regardless. It’s a five day game, why risk a wicket for one run at this stage!?
West Indies in March (3 Tests), New Zealand in June (3 Tests), and South Africa (3 Tests) in August/September. They then tour Pakistan again for three Tests in December 2022 before touring South Africa, New Zealand, and Bangladesh in early 2023.They won’t change nowt Root be still captain Silverwood be still there! We go to West Indies and win there it be all forgotten as usually to we play the Aussies again.
I’m still more than doubtful of 40% tbh.On the Australian Broadcast each delivery has its speed shown.
Cummins bowls at over 140.
Boland/Nestle/Richardson/Hazelwood (remember him) can (and do) as well
Even the all rounder Green bowls at close to 140 Kph
I believe that’s the first time they’ve opened together as well, so there’s no understanding.Counter point, they are both fucking useless and know they can't last long so should try and get every run possible before inevitably getting out

That is looking like a hectic Test schedule, and with so much T20 and ODI as well, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Root is retained his position. There has to be a designated Test captain.
Australian coverage has always inflated Australian bowler speeds. On the Australian Broadcast each delivery has its speed shown.

You won’t find me arguing against that! But in fairness, some of these tours are reciprocity. The West Indies toured at the height of the first wave and Pakistan also came last summer, sacrifices that should not go unrewarded. England also balked at touring Pakistan and withdrew from South Africa last winter, so in some respects these tours are catching up what was lost. The ecb are greedy fuckers us and India play to many test matches it’s easier for the likes of Australia New Zealand and other test match teams to plan for test match players.
