Virat Kohli is just freakishly good, far more talented than any other batsmen in the world imo. His international T20 average is about 50% higher than anyone elses and he always scores them when it counts as well, ridiculous

There was a smilie, great knock by Kohli no doubt about that and he is a brilliant one day finisher, which is a specialist skill, joking aside, he, Smith and Root are much of a muchness for me, all fantastic batsmen in all formats of the game.
You have to give enormous ("massive", even!) credit to Root, sorry, "Rooooooot". He's achieved it all despite being handicapped by being a Y*******eman.

In T20 cricket I agree Kohli is probably the best, but in all formats I think Smith and Root come into the conversation as well.

I'd probably have to throw Kane Williamson, Amla and AB De Villiers in there if you're talking across all formats, but Kohli is so far ahead of everyone else in T20's it's almost freakish. There are a lot of players that average mid 30's, but he's in the mid 50's, it's almost Messi-esque how big the gap is between him and everyone else

I forgot about AB the over talented fucker that he is.

Williamson and Amla just below the big 4 I think but still great batsmen.

2 excellent games today, India were brilliant through their innings, and well done to the Afghans, the country deserves something to celebrate.

Also well done the girls for getting to their semi final too.

What a great tournament this has been. The Windies look like the best team to me. I'm not sure what Curtly Ambrose is doing with them but they look fired up, are fielding brilliantly and seem like they have a togetherness and determination that hasn't been seen from them for many years. They're a better all round team than India but Kohli is on a different planet in this format, in these conditions and with the weight of a billion people on his shoulders. It's quite extraordinary really.

You'd say NZ v England would be about 55/45 in favour of NZ but I think England will be happy it's NZ they're playing and not one of the other two. It's too difficult to call in this form of the game as any batsman can win the game in a few overs but I have a feeling for England v Windies final.
