TFC Sri Lanka. Out bowled, out batted, out fielded, this is going to be a thumping, like an innings defeat in tests.
Hoping Hales and Roy can see this through now. No reason why they shouldn't.
Only seen the 2nd innings. How was the bowling?
What's that"device" the umpires wearing on his arm?
I've still got my doubts against a good attack on a pitch that has a bit, hope he takes his chance thoughhe did carry on, well done JJ, hopefully silenced the doubters now. Proud as punch, what a knock.
England going down pretty meekly today. 131 still needed with only 4 second innings wickets left. Ali wants shooting for his brainfart. Bairstow needs to drop anchor here, and hopefully some support from Woakes. Broad can score a few runs, but I wouldn't be too confident of Finn and Ball lasting too long. Where's the rain that's been here all summer when you need it!
Couldn't understand what was the rush; they had plenty of time (over 5 sessions, not counting any bad weather that might show up) to get less than 300 runs. Take it nice and steady up until lunch tomorrow, keep the bulk of your wickets intact and then, if you need say 150-175 with, say 7 wickets left, then you'd be in the driving seat. Pretty brainless batting from some in the England side today.Hales and Vince need to play test cricket rather than 20/20 shots. Both went flashing at balls they should
never have gone anywhere near.
What a great test match.
Hoping for the same next week at OT.
