Wtf

Suppose 2 up New Zealand at home want to end on a high plus England batting luck run out, because the last two tests we have give so many chance that been dropped plus missing a lot knicks!

Also when you win a series both team relax!

When a team have lost a series I give no credit for the team losing to come out and perform! Why? Because means nought you lost!

When England used to be 3/4'down against the Aussies then win one of the last 2 tests then celebrate like they've won the series always annoyed me! It meant nought!

Just heard New Zealand have only 3 test matches in the next 12 months how can that be right when England probably have 15+

Spot on about meaningless tests.

They go on about Mark Butchers amazing test innings against Australia.
Weren't we 3-0 down?

Don't get me wrong I'd be buzzing if that were my lad, but in the terms of great innings then scoring a ton when it's 1-1 and not 200 when you're 3-0 will always be bigger.

Matthew Hayden was lauded as a great opener for the Aussies. Piece of piss when McGrath and Warne have just bowled out the opposition for 100!

One of the things I like about Test cricket is every game feels important. I've never thought of Ashes tests after the series has been decided as dead rubbers, you always want to beat them! With the WTC they do all actually count now aswell.
