Should be two games a day to condense it and keep it interesting. One game a day is only good if it's a good game. The big match ups so far have been really poor as well, the only close game was Sri Lanka v Pakistan and even then, it was pretty comfortable for Pakistan in the end. Australia have been battered twice in games you'd have hoped for a bit more drama in. England v NZ was over as soon a NZ batted.

Maybe it will get a bit of life with India v Pakistan tomorrow.

I'm finding it the same with the rugby world cup. You knew it would be France, NZ, SA, Ireland, England, Argentina, Wales in the QFs. Fiji pipping Australia is probably the only "shock" and even then, the Aussies are shite so it's not a huge surprise! Other than the match ups between those teams in the group it's been waiting for the knockouts. And then you have to wait a week between them because the soft arses can't play more than once a week!
 
Abysmal over from Bangladesh who were keeping it tight and letting that run rate rise a bit. They need wickets though. Get these two out sharpish and you never know (really trying my best to pretend this is interesting)!

Probably the most headstrong batsman ever. Not blessed with Lara/Tendulkar talent, but recognised that and scored so many runs from 3 or 4 shots.

If only we had some cricketers with an ounce of his mental disciple, we’d be world beaters.

Cheers Sir Alastair, that series win down under will always be one of my most enjoyable series of Test cricket to watch.

This game be interesting as in if the pressure gets to India! If it does when it gets to the semi final final they could bottle it!

Is the stadium actually full this time?

Most games including India games haven't had anywhere close to a full attendance.
 
India have the bowlers for all conditions that's their strength! Whoever plays them in the semi final or final need to get a score around 320 to beat them

Bumrah and Siraj are a better pair than anyone else has. Add in Jadeja, Ashwin and Yadav and that‘s 5 bowlers hard to get away. Then they have Pandir and Thakur!

Plus home advantage.

If there’s only 20k people turning up in a city of 9 million then it’s beyond shit attendance and is well into the realms of pathetically embarrassing.


So far this World Cup has been a disaster.

Ticket sales were delayed by months, so there’s almost no international fans. Indian fans aren’t turning up probably because of the same ticketing problems. The pitches have been terrible and there’s not been a single close match.

It’s almost as if the BCCI are trying to kill the 50 over game.

I guess so, but all tournaments will have that.

How many turned up to Bangladesh vs New Zealand in the last World Cup in England?
