To be fair Livingstone is actually bowling well, it must be his one game in four. I rate Curran as a cricketer but he’s just a yard or two short on this type of pitch.

Spin seems to kill the run rate. They’ve got 3 decent spinners.

Livingstone is a better bowler than batter these days. He doesn’t bat long enough to ever get into any kind of form and tries to slog the ball too hard.

Yep. The Afghans have frittered away their excellent start. They should have been looking at 300+.

Buttler winning the toss why he wanted to field first was he likes to chase! Agree if you playing a top team a team like Afghanistan you bat first get 320+ put them under pressure and you get a "easier win" unless England camp want to asses the bowlers?!

Buttler needs to make his bowlers more confident. Our batting should be fine.

He does prefer chasing though.
