It’s easy to bowl when the other team’s batsmen are shit.

The batsmen aren’t shit though.

Bairstow, Malan, Root, Butler and Stokes are some of the best ODI batsmen ever. They have all won multiple limited over world cups.

So either the problem is the coaching, or the fact that the bowlers shipping an average of 350 is killing the batsmen before they get to the crease.

Ok they’ve batted really well then, all 4 matches. Maybe like you they believe their own publicity. One dimensional and only know one way to play, and it’s stopped working, big time

They play t20 shots in a 50 over game and wonder why they’re all out for 170 in 22 overs
I think the same, my mate disagrees and says they improve their game by taking shots (batsmen) from one form, and adapting them to other forms.....I think Buttler is the best example of looking like you can't bowl to him in 20/20, way out of his depth for tests, and hasn't a clue how he should bat between the two in odi's.

Not much else to say really other than the World Cup for England is over, Let's hope big changes are ahead for the ODI team including management, coaching, captain, It has gone stale and smelly, it has become a Dad's Army of old men and brook,

We've always been a bit wank in India going by the 2011 World Cup (unsure before that) so I'm not gutted we're not going to win it. Our big chance to win a WC was in 2019 and we took it thankfully.

But this time around our performances have just been embarrassing even accounting for the India effect.

good shout

Maybe England could have gone to the World Cup in India with a young team with nothing to lose, But the way we have played with season-pro players and World Cup winners it's poor and ugly,

embarrassing

that's what I make of it, even in India you don't fold like a pack of cards

Think it's is the last hoorar for quite a few those players in the 50 over game and I feel they turned up to India played a few games in that zapping heat thought fcuk this

With Australia and India amongst those still to play, it’s difficult to envisage us winning any of our remaining games.
Amended for you.
I only saw the Saffers batting and apart from Adel Rashid it was a shambles.
Very little variation on a great batting strip.
Something quite badly wrong there at the minute and what is worse is the lack of apparent talent in the wings.
Conditions are no shock to anyone and YJB,Buttler and even Root look shot along with a half fit Stokes.
Might beat Sri Lanka and the Dutch at a push.
