I agree and watching sides hitting almost 400 in just 50 overs is not really appealing. It’s like watching The Hundred x 3.

The 50 over game should just be for counties now. The games feel like they’ve settled into a format of pinch-hitting at the start, nurdling along at 6 an over for 30 to 35 overs and finishing with a slog at the end.

The Hundred or T20 should be the only World Cup/International format as it will appeal to more countries. I think the Hundred would be best as it could easily be an Olympic sport.

I'm not really that bothered about it either but I do think it is more marketable to some countries, especially the US. After all, it's still just whacking the ball around a pitch like T20, only it is a bit of a faster game and more suited to TV (except for the awful graphics). I just hate having so many formats and wish it was just the two that worked for years.
