I never really rated Livingstone, I remember how surprised I was when he got his England call up.

He had that one good summer for England, but apart from that he seems rather average.

I didn’t realise until now that Benkenstein was head coach of Glos for two years. They finished bottom of div1 followed by bottom of div2 the following year. Question: why on earth was he appointed to Lancs with a record like that?

Lancs members have been asking themselves that very question.

The only plausible explanation is that he was the cheapest of those available at the time.

I don't know if you can in ODIs, but you can't in T20

There was a match a few weeks ago where the openers put on a big score in an T20, and then had 10 batsmen retired out, all in order to make sure they had time to bowl the opponents out before bad weather.
