ODI scores depend on the team batting first, The weather and wickets only play a small part in the modern game.
The day and night ODI is a different story with the lights and dew, Yes bowling 2nd is a disadvantage because the fielding team can control the game better

ODI and 20/20 are and always will be just a 50/50 chance and it's on the day and hows your luck

That’s not entirely true.

Australia have just posted 392 in the next ODI against South Africa.

SA are 92-1 after 11 overs.

This is down to the pitch being true and even, unlike the one a couple of days back.

The truth is it's a bit of both, Modern-day ODI on any wicket is about the batsman's skill, power, and timing,
The bowlers are cannon fodder even on a wicket offering something, A very good bowl can also be hit out of the ground don't forget,

ODI is good entertainment and am not knocking it, But I would like to see how or what the scores would be without the rules of the inner ring and power plays

The hundred won't last till 2027.

Go the football way where you have 20/20 leagues then a champs league like format!

Like football though there is to much cricket around the world England and India play the most cricket, be interesting where this will go..
